In November 2023 an earthquake devastated the remote mountain area where a small "daughter" church is located. The church building received little damage, but many of the church members lost their homes and belongings. Allow the Children immediately sent earthquake relief funds to the "mother" church who took supplies to the Believers whose lives were affected. The KBC sponsorship program is to help these families by providing for their children's basic needs and education. Life there is very difficult and poverty abounds because of the harsh weather and lack of land to farm. The mountains are very steep and rocky.
